Our Generation

In our generation we say that size does not define us, people who are skin and bones are beautiful and people who are big boned packed with meat are beautiful too. But with personal experience's and with the stuff I  have read, girls still strive to be "skinny". You may have a different idea of skinny.. skinny may mean healthy in your eyes.
I don't know.

With that being said girls and guys are still being influenced to be this shape or that shape. It is still a continuous fight with ourselves to eat or to starve. I honestly feel as a teenager living in a society that is filled with judgemental comments, that I have to live to peoples standards or at least try too.

Being at this age I believe that we have better things to think about than what we put in our mouths or what we don't put in our mouths. Every moment we thing about it. Well I do.
It honestly doesn't even have to relate to weight, it can just be body image. If we eat oily food we get pimples, which further leads to making ourselves feel like crap. If we eat fast food we will gain 13740813403kgs, which also leads to making ourselves feel like crap.. To resolve this problem girls and guys starve themselves for days, shove fingers down their throat to make them vomit the food out.

I just think that Our Generation spends too much time thinking about what we look like rather than the feelings and moments we share with our friends and family.

With the thought of having to stop eating and starving yourself
